Blamey Community Group

Blamey Community Group has been supporting this community for over 15 years. Situated right in the heart of The Kapooka Patch. Across the road from Kapooka Preschool & Public Schools. 

Our Purpose

Blamey Community Group is dedicated to creating a supportive community for defence personnel, veterans, and their families. We understand the difficulties Defence families go through and Wagga being a rural area; how isolating it can become.

BCG offers spaces for growth and togetherness. Our Group is very lucky to be established in the Kapooka Community Centre, just outside Blamey Barracks. The Centre has wonderful facilities and acts as a welcoming hub, acknowledging and addressing the unique challenges of defence life.
